All right, everyone, it is T-shirt season again. This year we will also be doing hoodies. We will also order a large number of T-shirts because they can also be sold at the National Convention next July. However, we are going to be selling hoodies exclusively at our State Convention that you can pre-order. 

 

These hoodies will be a medium dark blue, in the pullover style. That is, with no zipper with a pocket in the front. On the front of the shirt will be the same message and design as was featured on the T-shirts last year. That is wording in print and Braille saying "Blindness is an inconvenience. Ignorance is an impairment". There is also an NFB logo, and all of this is done in puff, which means it is tactually apparent. These are a medium weight hoodie, not super thick and fluffy, but not thin like a long sleeve T-shirt either. We suggest that everyone size up by one size as hoodies, typically, are meant to be a little baggy and also because some shrinkage will happen with brand new products  that are all primarily cotton. 

 

Hoodies must be picked up in person at the State Convention. This means you can pick it up yourself or arrange with someone who is going to the State Convention to grab it for you. We will not be sending these through the mail as it is very cost prohibitive to do so. 

 

Hoodies will cost $40 apiece. If you wish to buy two, you can save five dollars and pay only $75. If you wish to purchase three, you can save $10 and pay only 110. If you have family members or coworkers who would like hoodies, you can save a little bit of money buying two or three at a time. 

 

You will need to pay for your hoodie ahead of time by sending PayPal to treasurer at nfbny.org <mailto:treasurer at nfbny.org> . Simply put the word hoodie in the notes section when making the payment. Here is the information we will need to know from you. How many hoodies do you want? In what size or sizes do you want these hoodies? And what is the name of the person who will be picking them up at the convention?

 

Please note we will also be selling T-shirts which you’re welcome to grab as well, but the hoodies do require a pre-order whereas the T-shirts do not. Any leftover T-shirts from last year, or water bottles will be available for sale, but we are not placing a re-order of either of those products. Please simply reply to this email if you’re receiving the original, or send an email to first.vp at nfbny.org <mailto:first.vp at nfbny.org>  with your order. Orders must be received by. October 15.
