<span style="font-size:10.5pt; font-family:"inherit",serif">Our research group at Cornell University (NYC-Roosevelt Island Campus) under the leadership of Dr. Shiri Azenkot is conducting a "Study on Barriers to Adoption of Technology by Adults with Vision Loss".
We are looking for volunteers to participate in a study to help us with our work!</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right:0in; margin-bottom:4.5pt; margin-left:0in">
<span style="font-size:10.5pt; font-family:"inherit",serif">The Objective of our research is to explore the major barriers to the adoption of technology by adults who have undergone vision loss. This study consists of a single session face-to-face interview
that will last about 1 hour and will be conducted on Cornell-Tech's Roosevelt Island campus or at local low vision service centers. We will ask participants about their use and experience with technology and other tools.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right:0in; margin-bottom:4.5pt; margin-left:0in">
<span style="font-size:10.5pt; font-family:"inherit",serif">Participants must:<br>
- Be at least 18 years old<br>
- Have low vision (i.e., a visual impairment that cannot be corrected with contacts or glasses) <br>
- Have experienced vision loss at some point in their life</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right:0in; margin-bottom:4.5pt; margin-left:0in">
<span style="font-size:10.5pt; font-family:"inherit",serif">Participants will be compensated $15 (or a $15 gift card). If participants require financial assistance with transportation to the study location, we will pay for their transportation expenses up to
$30 upon presentation of receipts.</span></p>
