It is with a sad and heavy heart that I report the passing of one of our
fellow federationists. Brenda will be missed. We appreciate Buddy and
family for requesting that in lu of flowers, donations be made to the
Arkansas affiliate of the NFB.

Brenda Gail Eden Rogers Rogers, AR, 1948 - 2018 . Brenda Gail Eden Rogers,
69, died Thursday, November 1, at Mercy Hospital, Rogers, Arkansas. She was
born in Bentonville, Arkansas, on November 3, 1948, to William Harold Eden
and Martha Presley Eden. She grew up in Monte Ne and Rogers, Arkansas, and
was a 1966 graduate of Rogers High School. She earned a bachelor's degree
from the University of Arkansas in 1970 and a master's degree from the
University of TexasAustin in 1980. She was a gifted teacher who taught
grades from pre-school to sixth grade in Rogers, San Antonio, the Chicago
area, Decatur, Georgia, and Stuttgart, Germany. She is survived by her
husband of fifty years, Buddy (Hiluard G.) Rogers; a daughter, Jennifer
Eden Rogers and son-in-law Eamon Renaghan, both of Rogers and grandson,
Joshua Bezdek of New Braunfels, Texas. A member of First Baptist Church of
Rogers, Brenda lived a luminous life in Christ. Her joy and thoughtfulness,
strength and compassion, wisdom and humor drew others to her. She was a
fierce protector of her family, her students, and her faith and a miracle
of grace and generosity. Despite living with chronic pain her entire adult
life, she remained positive and gloried in the love of her husband and
daughter. Her family and many friends miss her musical laugh but are
comforted that she suffers no more. And more than consoled that her soul is
at peace in God's loving arms. Visitation will be held tomorrow, Monday,

Rogers. Her Funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Tuesday at First Baptist

family interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family will
