Hi back Cindy, don’t have any really specific suggestions but have been through lots and lots of auctions over the years at the state conventions.

it’s funny some of the things that people have had huge battles over, one year it was a really cute green Christmas bear, I rememI remember him because I still have him. Ssometimes it was food items like homemade chocolate chip cookies or even some kind of special dip, one year there was an Eminem AM/FM radio, shaped like a dancing M & M that was a hot item. There there have been handmade items, a couple of really special pretty wreaths, or crocheted throws etc. trouble is, those were all in person so I guess the other thing we all have to consider is some thing that won’t be hugely difficult to send in the mail. The long and short of it is, there’s no way to predict The long and short of it is, there’s no way to predict. Some of the things that we thought would be really really popular warrant and other things that were maybe even odd ended up being a hot item.😉 I’ve been sort of struggling with the thing same thing, trying to think of something that would bei’ve been sort of struggling with the thing same thing, trying to think of something that would be a good fundraiser.Something people in something people might really really want.T The other thing I noticed is, you can’t keep the good stuff until late in an auction, if we actually do an auction and not just silent bids. Otherwise you start to lose your audience and some people have already spent their money. I guess on a silent bid auction that won’t be an issue but something we need to remember in the future. Otherwise at the end you have some really good stuff they get sold way too cheap. Sent from my iPhone

Thank you for sharing this information. I would like to get involved by donating an item. Since I am fairly new here, I’d love to hear from others about what particular types of auction items are popular.
I may not be the only one who would like some ideas for desired donation items.
