provided about the organization and their events.

What it means to be a Member

NAGDU currently meets the last Sunday of every month at 8 PM Eastern for
formal meetings. - Join the meetings to hear the business taking place each
month.  The business includes but is not limited to: Guide Dog users rights
and responsibilities, policies and procedures, group initiatives, and the
current direction the board is taking.

NAGDU also meets every other Saturday at 3 PM Eastern for informal
socializing. The meetings are called Yappy Hour. - Join the meeting to
discuss all dog topics.  Discussion includes, but is not limited to dog
toys, dog beds, grooming tools, keeping your dog busy during extreme
weather, how to protect dog paws in both hot and cold, and find out how
others have made it through grieving periods after retiring or saying
goodbye to their dog.

NAGDU also hosts a topical discussion about different guide dog matters.
This meeting takes place on the third Sunday of every month at 3 PM
Eastern. Topics can include first aid for guide dogs, emergency
preparedness, presentations from various guide dog training programs, and
much more.

NAGDU is an official division of the National Federation of the Blind. -
Join NAGDU each year at the NFB Convention to surround yourself with many
other guide dog users.  Listen to top presenters, meet owner trainers, and
find out how NAGDU is making a difference for all Guide Dog users.  Follow
along with the NAGDU President's agenda and recruit new members for only
$5.00.  If someone is a member of NAGDU, then they are a member of the NFB!
This meeting takes place every July during the NFB National Convention.
