Actually, I like it better that way!

I know where to look if I need the information, but it doesn’t Slow the reading down the rest of the time.

Just my preference, of course.

Yes, I am not sure why that is, I may have changed a setting – but I deleted the old list already, I should probably have waited a few days.

In the old list, it was part of the message, but now I know where to look for it if I want it.

For those who don’t know, the unsubscribe info is in the footer.  Not that I want anyone to rush over and unsubscribe.  It also has a couple list rules, which boil down to please stay on topic and be nice to each other.

I figured out the footer thing, for anyone who is interested. It depends on your mail program.  If you are using a program, like Outlook, and have your mail set to HTML, the Footer is sent in a separate file. Just shift-tab from the message, and you will see it.
