[NFB-Blind-Crafters] Snowman square homework

To anyone who wants to join me to knit the snowman square on September 9,
please do the following before the class.

 

Cast on 45 stitches.

Rows 1-7:  knit 1, purl 1 across the row, ending with knit 1.

Row 8:  Work a border of 5 stitches, k1, p1, k1, p1, k1, then knit 35
stitches and work the border on the last 5 border stitches, k1, p1, k1, p1,
k1. 

I'm placing a marker after the beginning border stitches and another before
the ending border stitches, so I know where to change without having to
count.

Row 9:  Work 5 border stitches, purl 35, work 5 border stitches.

 

Now we're ready to start the snowman!
