I have used the website for the most part, but I use the Alpaca app sometimes. I have found both are very easy to navigate using voiceover.

Tracy, I do as well. It will be too complicated to teach both at once and I might want to learn both and cannot do that at the same time.

Good Morning Tracy, I vote for separate classes. Terry and I use the Blind Shell phones which we are still in the learning process, and as far as we know, doesn’t support Voice Over.

Courtney, are you using it through the app or through the website?
I sometimes use the app, but it’s different from the website, or so it seems to me.
It’s my intention to show people how to use the website using Jaws, or some other screen reader, because that’s what I’m most familiar with. Maybe that will help people who use the app, too. If it doesn’t, we could have another class about that. I think trying to do both in one class would be too much. And I don’t know how to get the iPhone to come out clearly on Zoom, except by turning it up loud and putting it by the mic.

I certainly would love to take this class.

Would anyone be interested in a class on using Ravelry with a screen reader? I use Jaws, but NVDA is quite similar.
I can deal with Ravelry’s website pretty well, and have also used their app to look up projects, but I recall some people on the list saying they found it difficult.
Is there any interest in such a class, or a class on accessing some other craft-related website?
The class would be held on Zoom, so everyone could hear the screen reader.
