[NFB-Blind-Crafters] Fun craft gifts

I bought myself Flexee looms. I now have two sets each of Skinnies, regular and super or bulky gauge.

I told you about Jane Carona teaching me to make the ten-peg blanket and I still have it working. I had to put it down for a promised job for a birthday after the first of the year. I am anxious to get back to the ten peg blanket. It will have a few mistakes in it, which will keep me humble. The pattern will be special because it will remind me of how much trouble I had learning to make it. For those reasons, and the fact that Jane and I had not had a chance to hang out together for 20 years, I am truly blessed.

Keep on sharing.

I got some green yarn that I am going to use to make a hat and a scarf for our local homeless shelter as I believe in "Pay It Forward" Or "Share my Blessings with those less fortunate than I." Some point protectors (that is the word that you were just looking for Tracy) knitting needles and, candy bars because you need "Energy from the chocolate" to keep on crafting, big smile.
So, what about the rest of you on this list, what did you get? Speak on up! We can't hear you!

Did anyone get any craft-related gifts? I know Ericka got a crochet monkey kit.
I got some fun knitting notions from my sister. She gave me a little bin of plain stitch markers, then some more markers shaped like butterflies, Christmas trees, and a set of peppermints with 1 gingerbread man. She also gave me 2 sets of needle stoppers, or whatever you call the things to stick on the end of a needle to stop stitches from falling off. One set are shaped like pineapples, and the other are shaped like teacups, really cute. And then she added a notions box-a small box with several compartments to neatly hold all my stitch markers. Fun stuff, and very useful!
Tracy
