That sounds stinking cool! I might like to make one because the Phoenix is sort of a Native American symbol.

After many a bloody battle, the Native Americans have risen from the ashes like the Phoenix. Did you all know that fact?

I started crocheting a Phoenix. It is red, orange, yellow, and metallic gold. It's pretty big and it is really cool looking! I have the body done today and will be working on the tail feathers tonight.

I love fingerless mitts.  My house is a bit chilly, and, when my hands are cold, I put on some mitts and they warm up nicely.  I had lost one of a nice pair, and this week I finished making a replacement.  It’s made of fingering yarn, so it’s light, and it has a staghorn cable pattern on the back which I think is very nice.
