Anybody get anything cool and crafty for Christmas? I got two kits to crochet. One is a monkey and the other one is some kind of kookaburra or something like that with a turtle hugging him or something. One of them is called “crochet for beginners kit“ and the other is MEWAII. Have you heard of these? I think my parents found them on Amazon. I am going to be challenged to watch the videos and see if I can gain any insight. I’m assuming they’re going to do it slowly. They have their own websites, but they also have YouTube channels. I will be learning how to use the QR code scanner thing because that’s how they have the links to the sites. This QR stuff is just too weird for me. Maybe I’m old-fashioned. Did anyone else get anything crafty for Christmas?

I got a couple of crochet pattern, books, including creepy, Crawley creatures and monsters. I also purchased an E book from a designer that I like that has fantasy creatures.

I got some fun knitting notions from my sister.  She gave me a little bin of plain stitch markers, then some more markers shaped like butterflies, Christmas trees, and a set of peppermints with 1 gingerbread man.  She also gave me 2 sets of needle stoppers, or whatever you call the things to stick on the end of a needle to stop stitches from falling off.  One set are shaped like pineapples, and the other are shaped like teacups, really cute.  And then she added a notions box—a small box with several compartments to neatly hold all my stitch markers.  Fun stuff, and very useful!
