What size?

Size 8?

I have an idea how to do the magic loop so will you teach it and should I try it?

Just cast on 8 stitches?

Terry

Tracy, please add me to the list. I hope technology works out so that I can join. I might be a little late because the time change messes me up, especially when I have to work tomorrow.

Tomorrow I’ll be teaching people to needle knit a hat from the top down.

Anyone can join, but I’ll only send my notes afterwords to the people who sent me their email address.

As a reminder, you’ll need:

A ball of yarn in any weight you want;

A circular knitting needle or a set of double-pointed needles or a set of flexi-needles;

A stitch marker;

A method for keeping track of your row and stitch count.

You need to know how to knit, purl if you want ribbing, and increase. I use the kfb increase, knit front and back. If people don’t know it, I will do my best to teach it.

If I’m using a circular needle, I prefer a 16-inch long one. It’s long enough for Magic Loop, and it’s the right size to knit a hat for an adult without needing Magic Loop once the increasing is done.

The number to call tomorrow at 7:30 PM is

chat line: 667-770-1685, code 614370.

See you then!

Tracy
