I've saved the email addresses I've gotten so far for the class. I'll send
you my notes when the class is over.

Thanks Henry for saying you don't know either Magic Loop or DPN's. I'll
talk about how to use both.

Tracy

Please also knote that I have never used the Magic Loop method or Double

Here is the info for my top-down hat class. If you'd like to come and want
my notes afterwards, send me your name and email:

carcione at access.net <mailto:carcione at access.net>

If you just want to come and don't need my notes, you can just call in.

This is an experiment in no sign-up, no class proposal, so we'll see how it
goes.

Class name: Needle knit top-down hat

Instructor:  Tracy Carcione

Date/time:  Thursday, 11/14, 7:30 PM Eastern

Class format: phone, 667-770-1685, code 614370.

Description: Learn to knit a hat from the top down, which allows you to get
the exact size because you can fit it as you go. If you don't know Magic
Loop, or how to use double-points, I'll show you.

Skills: Know how to knit, increase, and purl if you want ribbing.

Supplies:  1 ball of yarn in any thickness you like to work with;

1 circular knitting needle, if you use Magic Loop, or a set of
double-pointed needles in a size that suits your yarn;

1 stitch marker to mark beginning of round;

a method for keeping track of the row while increasing. (I use an abacus);

a spare circular needle to hold stitches if you want to try on the hat.
