Let's not worry about the past. let's think about where we go from here. What do you think, Terry?

I have called in to the Friday night chats and find that no one including Terry p. is on the call. At other times I find Terry on there waiting for others and sometimes one other person is on there. There has been times when there are a few other people on there too. I think it is a great way of catching up and visiting with others. It has always been a good time of relaxing and hanging out with friends and just chatting and doing crafts if you want. I never understood why the chat time got changed by Joyce because I did not think there was anything wrong with the time it had been for a while. I do understand people having to eat their dinner or do other things but It is a good place for folks to hang out when they can. I would like to see it continued but will understand if others think it has run its course. It does kind of seem like it is not working any more but maybe we will be able to give it a new face and have people coming back out for it. If Terry needs or wants her Friday’s to do other things I understand that too. I think Terry really likes hanging out with friends and hope that if she does we can keep doing that.

Terry P is the volunteer host of the Friday night craft hangout. I appreciate her giving her time to it. The hangout is at 6 PM on Fridays.

Terry says that, for a while now, only one other person has been coming by, and sometimes no one.

Can we change that, or has the hangout run its course?

It can be fun to hang out with other crafters, play show-and-tell with our projects, and chat about this and that. It’s more fun in person, but can be OK online or on the phone.

6 PM is a terrible time for me. I’m fixing or eating dinner, taking care of the dogs, etc. For me, 7 PM would be better. But I realize I’m on the East coast, and people in other places might like a different time. What time might be good? A little later? Some time in the morning, or the afternoon? I know a morning or afternoon time would cut out people who are working. Are those people interested in the hangout? When I was working, at the end of the day I just wanted to flop down and do something mindless, like watch TV. Though I had my knitting in hand while I was watching.

Anyway, do people have any ideas? If no one says anything, I will assume there is no more interest in the hangout, and Terry will be free to spend her Friday evening in any way she likes. Though I know she enjoys hanging out when people hang out with her.

Tracy
