[NFB-Blind-Crafters] My project is cursed

Oh Bernice, that is the road to unfinished projects that lie around forever!
When my mother passed, my sister and I had the sad task of going through her unfinished projects, which were many, and deciding what might possibly be finishable and what wasn’t. I swore a mighty oath not to leave unfinished projects behind me, and so to only work on 1 or 2 at a time. And I still feel that way.

I would set it aside for awhile if I were you.

Thanks. It’s good I’m not alone, though I wish us all greater success.

Hi Tracy,
I most certainly can empathize with your feelings about your tank top woes. I have had problems with most knitting projects I make. I have been knitting a cable knit scarf and it has been one problem after another. Dropped stitches, knitting the cable in the wrong direction, and skipping three rows in one pattern repeat that I didn’t notice for quite sometime.
All I can say, is keep trucking! A lifeline might help once the top part is done and you are plain knitting the body.
May God bless you.

My tank top knitting project is cursed. First it took me ages to actually start knitting. Then I had a bit that kept getting twisted. At last, the other night, I joined the front and back together and started knitting in earnest, and then I dropped a bunch of stitches. I picked up most of them, but 2 were totally twisted and made a bit of a mess. So I’ve pulled out all the rows I did during a long meeting, and I’m back to where I was before joining the pieces. It’s rather depressing. Maybe I should work out some kind of cleansing ritual before I start going forward again, and try to lift the bad juju.
Just sharing my woes and frustration.
Tracy
