Good job, Cindy! An interesting use for AI. And you figured out how to get it to tell you what you wanted to know, which isn’t always easy.

Well, I didn't get back to this, so I am sending today instead.
I needed to share my win from the weekend. I was gathering yarn for a new pattern and trying to make sure I had enough yardage. I was short and decided I could use something else for the button band and cuffs. Well, the yarn I am using is variegated and on the dark side so I asked co-pilot (I have MS 365 and do not pay extra for any AI) what colors the yarn is (I knew the brand and colorway). It gave me a description. Then I asked it what color coordinated and it gave me a color in the same yarn. Then, I asked for a contrasting color and it again gave me a color that was in the same yarn.
I was very pleased with my use of AI for crafting.

It’s Successful Saturday! Have you started or finished a project or achieved a goal? Share it with us and we’ll celebrate with you.
I finished the left front of a cardigan I’m working on, and I’ve started the right front.
It’s the Tree of Life cardigan from Lion Brand. Lion Brand seems to do a good job providing written instructions to go with charts.
It’s a neat pattern. It has 2 trees on each side of the front, with their branches intertwined. Above and below the trees is a simple basketweave pattern.
However, I don’t want to use the gauge LB has for the pattern. Their sweater is super-large, and they want me to hold 2 strands of yarn together, which I don’t want to do. So I figured out their gauge/inch, then figured out mine, and I’m modifying parts of the pattern to suit my gauge. It seems to be working.
