Good morning, all,
Cindy, did you share the pattern for the hexagon sweater on the list or just to one person who asked for it?
This sounds like an interesting pattern. I read your instructions for how it is assembled and think I understand them but its probably clearer when you can hold he pieces together.
I really admire folks on this list. You are all productive and creative.
Blessings,
Deb Trevino

Not sure yet, I am making my gauge swatch now. You can see the pattern in the link I sent.

Hi Ramona,
You knit two hexagons, sew the two hexagons together along one side, then on each hexagon you fold them in half (to make a partial square, think of a square with four quadrants and you will only have three of the quadrants), and last you can add cuffs to the sleeves, a button band or trim, and you can also add to the length of the body if you want it longer.
To picture how the design looks, think of the granny square. The center square is under the arm hole and the increasing frames go out to the body and up the lines. If you hold your arms straight out to the sides and parallel to the floor, the top of your arms would be a straight line, your neck and the center of the back would be a straight line going vertical (they form a 90 degree angle at the center of your body).

Are the hexigons just the design, or do you sew hexigons together to make the whole thing? That would be interesting to me, too, if it fits well.

Hi Cindy. That sounds interesting. Where did you get the pattern? I might like to make that myself.

Hi Cindy. Always great to find a use for those partial skeins. What's your project going to be?

Well, I found some partial skeins of the yarn I was looking for coordinating colors for. I am measuring the yardage and on the last partial and believe I will have enough for the project without needing a coordinating color. Should be finish measuring and cast-on the swatch tomorrow. Hopefully, by next Saturday I will be able to start the project.

Sad as I am to see her go, I hope Bernice was successful in unsubscribing. Thanks Terry P for helping her.
I think we've finally had our last frost, so I've been carrying the tougher plants that spent the winter inside back outside. Hooray for Spring!
