[NFB-Blind-Crafters] Successful Saturday

What I did today I did not need to do at all, but it sure was fun!  I
saw a note on facebook that Joann's has yarn for 40 percent off.  I
thought they probably would not have much left since a lot of stores
have closed already.  But I was able to squeeze in a trip there between
other things, and I found that they have brought yarn from a bunch of
other stores to sell it out at the one near me.  I really wanted some
Caron's simply soft because it makes nice soft tube scarves that I
donate to Joseph's closset at our church.  They did have some Simply
Soft mixed in with tons of other things, and I got enough for 5 or 6
scarves; so we tried to go through several aisles of yarn all stacked
together and packed in multiple skeins at low prices.  I brought home
way too much, but if I live long enough, I will make bunches of things.
What I am most excited about are four packages of verigated yarn in nice
colors marked way down.  Each is enough for a sweater or prayer shawl.
I could have got lots more, but my budget said ENOUGH!  My yarn stash
was certainly not gone before, but I have used quite a bit this winter.
Since Christmas I have made 3 sweaters and two bar stool cushion covers,
but I have not shopped for yarn since well before Christmas.  So I
actually have space to reorganize yarn and store it.

I kept thihnking that my friends would have loved this sale, too.

Best,

Ramona
