What I did today I did not need to do at all, but it sure was fun! I saw a note on facebook that Joann's has yarn for 40 percent off. I thought they probably would not have much left since a lot of stores have closed already. But I was able to squeeze in a trip there between other things, and I found that they have brought yarn from a bunch of other stores to sell it out at the one near me. I really wanted some Caron's simply soft because it makes nice soft tube scarves that I donate to Joseph's closset at our church. They did have some Simply Soft mixed in with tons of other things, and I got enough for 5 or 6 scarves; so we tried to go through several aisles of yarn all stacked together and packed in multiple skeins at low prices. I brought home way too much, but if I live long enough, I will make bunches of things. What I am most excited about are four packages of verigated yarn in nice colors marked way down. Each is enough for a sweater or prayer shawl. I could have got lots more, but my budget said ENOUGH! My yarn stash was certainly not gone before, but I have used quite a bit this winter. Since Christmas I have made 3 sweaters and two bar stool cushion covers, but I have not shopped for yarn since well before Christmas. So I actually have space to reorganize yarn and store it.

I kept thihnking that my friends would have loved this sale, too.

Best,

Ramona

Wow Joyce. Sounds like a lot of work, but you got it done. Or at least you’re well on the way. Good for you!

yand I had to pin it all and then I couldn’t find the electric cord to my sewing machine. I did not give up.

so I had to go through my sewing room that basically got unpacked and back into the new room. I had no visual help, but I had to find myself small sewing machine box that had my little February in. I found it I set it up and my daughter will come over tomorrowas I could not find my needle threaders the thread sewing machine. It will be finished and he’ll have it back tomorrow afternoon he’s into. I’m not exactly positive, but he needed to kill in order for whatever his project is Joyce I sure have finished a project that I’ve had for the last week and very proud of it and can’t wait to deliver it tomorrow to my grandson

I was presented with a kilt that needed to be shortened, and my grandson was very anxious for me to do this and get back. It took a lot of effort as I compared to another kilt that he had and I had to shorten it to that I wanted to take probably at least 5 inches off of it and I had to cut it. I had to removed the buttons. I’m sorry. Remove the pocketsand I had to pin it all and then I couldn’t find the electric cord to my sewing machine. I did not give up.

I’m just doing a lot of work in my yard, getting seedlings ready to put in the garden, getting the garden organized, putting out the fountain, organizing hoses … There’s a lot of work to do. Good thing Spring gives me a shot of energy to do it.

And several plants I wasn’t sure made it through the winter have started to leaf out. I’m very happy about that.
