I am working on rhubarb recipes. Unfortunately, our lawn mower man weedwacked our rhubarb and I was very sad. My sister is visiting form Idaho and she brought me a ton, and I mean ton, of rhubarb, from her garden. I am preppring rhubarb for the freezer and making some yummy rhubarb custard bars. 😊

Subject: [NFB-Blind-Crafters] Successful Saturday
It’s Successful Saturday! Have you started or finished a project, or achieved a goal? Share it with us and we’ll celebrate with you.
I have an apple tree in my yard, and the apples are ripe now. I’m very busy processing apples. I’ve made apple pandowdy, applesauce, given some away to neighbors and the local food bank, and I’m picking my next baking project, either scones, muffins, cake, or crisp. So many choices.
Definitely the start of a big project, but they’ll be done in 3 or 4 weeks.
Tracy
