It is at least lace but I am not sure if it is considered thinner as I
have not worked with it. Maybe find the one you are planning on using
and call the companies customer support. Typically, yarn companies are
good at having people that can answer these types of questions. I did
email with a company and asked a similar question about a particular
yarn and they were able to help me.
