Hi Cindy.

Apple pandowdy is like a sliced apple filling with a thin, buttery biscuit on top. It’s easy and really tasty.

I think apple crisp will be the next dessert I make.

Good luck with your house. Sounds like things are coming along.

Tracy

what is apple panpowdy? Growing up we used to visit the orchards. I am in a couple of instant pot facebook groups and there are lovely recipes for apples. There is a slow cooker recipe for apple crisp that I want to try but I haven't unpacked the slow cooker yet.

The painter is technically finished with the master bedroom and bath he will be coming back on Monday to do any touch ups and put switch plate covers back on. The bathroom door is done but the bedroom door, closet door, and bathroom cabinet will be "in-between" jobs. My brother-in-law is coming tomorrow to put together my IKEA closet pieces and possibly put my bed back. I am really tired of sleeping on the couch.

I have an apple tree in my yard, and the apples are ripe now. I’m very busy processing apples. I’ve made apple pandowdy, applesauce, given some away to neighbors and the local food bank, and I’m picking my next baking project, either scones, muffins, cake, or crisp. So many choices.

Definitely the start of a big project, but they’ll be done in 3 or 4 weeks.
