Thanks Jolene. What kind of clasp did you use? A toggle, or something else?
The cord I’m using is thin and satiny. It’s been a while, but I think I looked on Amazon for kumihimo cord, and I got a pack with several small skeins of cord in various colors.

hi the only time i have done this was with paracord. i remember having to attach the clasp or ring by including it in the last braiding step i made. then i had to fold the ends back into the bracelet brading i already did. so when i wass at the end i worked the ring into the last braid step but did one more so it was secure. then i wove the ends back into the existing braid much like we do in knitting. what material are ou using?

I have a pattern I want to try for a flat braided kumihimo bracelet, but I’m not sure about the finishing. Annie Maxwell very kindly took time to explain it to me, but I’m afraid I still don’t get it.
I think I could make one end a loop, and sew a button on the other end, so I could close the bracelet with the button. I guess I’d weave in the ends of the working string, like I do with knitting? Or perhaps I could sew near the end, either with thread or beading string, to stabilize the end and attach a clasp?
I’d welcome some advice. I’d like to know how to finish before I get started.
And Youtube hasn’t been all that helpful.
