I've just been contacted by a newly blind person who really enjoys sewing.
She likes to sew felt toys, and she sewed her kids' Halloween costumes.
She'd like to know about techniques blind people use to do these things.
She really misses it. 

I'll write back to her this afternoon, but I haven't sewn much in years.  I
know the basics, but it would be great if I can hook her up with someone
with more recent experience.

I know we have some expert sewers, so please speak up.
