[NFB-Blind-Crafters] World's worst gluer

Could you tell us where you get them, and how big are they? Do you have to put them in a line where you want to glue? Could you just tell us how you use them? I also hate glue, so, I avoid projects that need gluing or get a friend to glue for me.

Thanks,

Bernice

I like to use glue dots. Not messy at all and hold really well!

I am the world’s worst gluer. I’m sure there are second-graders who do a better job than I do.

I put the glue on the wood, then by the time I’d got it all in the right positions there was no glue, so I had to try again. I hope I got enough to hold. I certainly got a lot on my fingers.

The only glue I have is Aleene’s. I used to try to use more serious, grown-up glue, but I’d spend hours getting it off my fingers, and still with questionable results.

I was putting the glue on my finger, then swiping it on the wood to be glued. Not sure if it would work better to put the glue on the wood.

Any advice about gluing technique?

Tracy
