I tried making a bracelet with memory wire, but it doesn’t hold well on my wrist. Maybe I put too heavy beads, or maybe too many. I’d love some advice about memory wire, if there are any tricks or tips to using it.

memory wire is also cool to work with but you do need special cutters. i make bracelets out of that and people love them because you dont have to clasp them

I like jewelry-making, and I have plenty of supplies, really more than I need.
I bought some blank expandable steel bangles from Amazon. On one end of the bracelet it’s bent to create a small hole, and on the other end is a rod with a ball that screws off. It’s easy to unscrew the ball, pull the rod out of the hole, put on beads and/or charms, then reconnect the bracelet and replace the ball.
I also bought an assortment of charms—fruit and veg, moon and stars, sea creatures, flowers, and birds. I have a variety of jump rings. And I have a bag of wooden beads of different sizes and colors, all with big holes that can accommodate the bangle.
So yesterday I discovered how easy it is to make a nice bracelet, combining all these things.
If I get serious and put jump rings on the charms I want to use, I could make lots of bracelets, and none of the parts cost very much at Amazon.
Just thought I’d share.
