[NFB-Blind-Crafters] Successful Saturday

Seems to me that organizing craft supplies is a never ending but enjoyable way to spend time.

I have lots of yarn, some of it one skein in a particular color. Many of those get worked up into Granny squares so that, if I need a gift, all I have to do is take a neutral color and put the squares together.

Otherwise, I try to separate brands and colors into plastic bags and slip a braille label in with it.

I have plastic file crates filled with yarn.

Here’s the thing, though. I often can’t decide what to do with all that glorious yarn!

Blessings,

Deb Trevino

Good job, Jolene! I’m working on organizing, too. It makes such a difference.
Whole containers of wolf and pawprint stuff—cool!

Good job, Tracy!
Neet idea about being able to change the decorations!

It’s Successful Saturday! Have you started or finished a project, or achieved a goal? Share it with us and we’ll celebrate with you.

I figured out a slightly confusing crochet pattern and crocheted 2 snowflakes. A while ago, I knitted a hat and put some buttons on it so I could attach whatever decorations I fancied. I used it for my Halloween cow costume, and now I’ve taken off the horns and ears and attached my 2 snowflakes. I think it’s cute. And, for Spring, I’ll crochet some flowers and leaves to put on it, and a crochet rose. Très chic. Well, I think so.
