Hi Cindy;

Sorry to hear about your mother!

I know that sure can be hard!

Sorry to hear about the house.

Good luck getting things fixed.

That sure is funny, the name of your cat!

Henry’s guide dog is Sophie and she turns 15 in July!

The names and ages are so close!

Take care.

Terry

There were just so many issues with getting things done but I do have an email trail.

Also, like Sophia, my cat turns 15 in a couple weeks. She is still going strong with a few health issues that just go along with age.

Good Morning Cindy, first of all, Terry, Sophie and I want to extend our deepest sympathies for the loss of your Mother.

Did you have a sighted person do a walk through of your house to point out any flaws in the workmanship of it?

They should also have taken pictures to back up what they visually saw with things like nail holes in the baseboards and so forth.

Good luck getting things sorted out, (and, we feel certain that you will be able to do so.)

Hi Cindy. Sorry your project is proving problematic, but I’m sure you’ll make it all work out.

I’m sorry your house has turned into such a problem. It seems to me you could sue the builders for doing such a crappy job. Good luck straightening it out.

Well, my not so successful Saturday but good news.

I decided to frog the hexagon cardigan again. I had finished both hexagons and was working on the back which joins the two and has a section between them. Ultimately, I decided that the hexagons need to be bigger before I join them. So, I have completed the frog and I am ready to cast on again.

On a side note, I have found a painter for my house. It will have to be done room by room, as in empty a room and have it painted and then put everything back and move to the next room. So, it will be a very long project but I have cleared out more boxes and sold my mom's lift chair this week.

I finished the sun hat I was crocheting. It came out nice. It’s made of a soft grey-blue ribbon yarn. It’s like a sombrero, with a wide brim. The brim is stiff enough that it doesn’t flop. It has some fancy crossed stitches to give it a bit of pizzazz. Thanks ReNae for explaining how to make the crosses when I wasn’t sure about the instructions.

I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet in action, but I think it will shade my face well.

It’s called Beachside Sun Hat, and it’s on Ravelry and Lion Brand.

Tracy
