Hi Becky.

Here are Laurie's instructions for the ladder stitch.

 

Ladder Stitch Bracelet

 

Cut about 20 inches of thread

 

Secure a stop bead.

 

Pick up 4 beads Bring the beads down so they are sitting on top of the  stop
bead

 

Passs needle through the first 2 beads and pass needle down through the
remaining 2 beads.

 

Pick up 2 more beads. Pass needle up through  last 2 beads and then pass
needle down through the new beads.

Repeat these steps for the length of the entire bracelet.

 

 

Join the 2 ends of the bracelet.

 

Pass needle up through the beads at one end and down through the beads on
the other end 

 

Reinforce the ends by passing the needle through them 2 or 3 times.

 

Tie working thread to the small tail with a series of square knots. 

 

Trim off both tail thread and working thread.
