Jolene, that is exciting. Please let us know how it goes.

I always picture the Cricut as being a giant machine, but I guess it’s not.

lol now i see why some folks like to glue lego together. i am not sure if i mentioned this but i just got a cricut machine. my friend is going to help me with the inaccessible parts but this one cuts things like leather and felt so it may make some projects easier for me. i am also thinking about making some tactile cards.

with the different materials this can cut, it will give me a range of text rues to work with.

It might be called a bolero. I know exactly what you are talking about, but not certain of the name either.

I had some green cotton with silk yarn with sparkles and crocheted one purse then made three more using a 10 inch crohook afghan stitch. They all have islet holes around the top with heavy nylon cord shoulder straps.

I don’t know what you call these fasteners but there is a hole in the side with a spring-loaded button on the top so you hold the button down and thread the cord through the hole. When you let go of the button, the spring holds the cord so that the bag stays closed.

More than you probably wanted to know. If anyone knows what you call that fastener, please let me know.

Blessings,

It’s Successful Saturday! Have you started or finished a project, or achieved a goal? Share it with us and we’ll celebrate with you.

I took Laurie’s beading class last night and learned a different way to use the peyote stitch to make a lovely bracelet or necklace. And, as a bonus, Annie Maxwell told us about her brand-new house, which sounds wonderful. Good class; good company.
