[NFB-Blind-Crafters] Successful Saturday

It's Successful Saturday!  Have you started or finished a project, or
achieved a goal?  Share it with us and we'll celebrate with you. 

 

I finished the sun hat I was crocheting.  It came out nice.  It's made of a
soft grey-blue ribbon yarn.  It's like a sombrero, with a wide brim.  The
brim is stiff enough that it doesn't flop.  It has some fancy crossed
stitches to give it a bit of pizzazz.  Thanks ReNae for explaining how to
make the crosses when I wasn't sure about the instructions.  

 I haven't had a chance to try it out yet in action, but I think it will
shade my face well.

It's called Beachside Sun Hat, and it's on Ravelry and Lion Brand.
