Well, hello stranger, big smile. That is great that you are making good progress on your knitting projects, I am proud of you for that, big smile.

That is also great that you are getting to walk with and hang out with that Guide dog, is he retired? The reason that I ask is that most guide dog schools don’t allow others to walk with working guide dogs. Are you thinking of getting a guide dog? Sophie says Woof to her Friend Ericka and to Chad too, would you believe that she will be 15 on July 18th? Yep, my little girl is growing up, big smile. She is still going strong as ever, Thank God for that, big smile.

O k, I’m outa here to go and knit for a bit, big smile. Write back privately to me if or when you get the chance.

Henry, Terry P. and Sweet Sophie Girl

You’re in Southern Wisconsin. It’s been a little too hot to do much of anything. I’ve been making dish cloths, which are finally turning out pretty decent most of the time now which is a big hurrah. We haven’t had much rain yet, so it really hasn’t cooled off all month.

Congratulations on your beach hat! I’m still lurking around, just not really having time to do much else. Hope everybody’s doing well. And hello to the dogs here. I have a guide dog I get to walk and hang out with once in a while. His name is Lumière like The candlestick and beauty and the beast.

I finished the sun hat I was crocheting. It came out nice. It’s made of a soft grey-blue ribbon yarn. It’s like a sombrero, with a wide brim. The brim is stiff enough that it doesn’t flop. It has some fancy crossed stitches to give it a bit of pizzazz. Thanks ReNae for explaining how to make the crosses when I wasn’t sure about the instructions.

I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet in action, but I think it will shade my face well.

It’s called Beachside Sun Hat, and it’s on Ravelry and Lion Brand.

Tracy
