Hi Cindy, I haven’t heard of Linda Lambert being on this list for a very long time. Sorry folks.

Many of the software for these devices (sewing, etc.) is inaccessible. I would suggest writing to the company as a first step and explaining that it does not work with screen readers for the blind. This might help push them in the right direction.
While I do not know anyone that uses a computerized loom, there are blind weavers. You might try getting her in contact with Linda Lambert. She is a professional artist that went blind and sold her loom at first, but after meeting us she learned that she could still craft. I believe she has returned to weaving and a professional life but I am not sure she is still on this list.

This person is looking for help with a computerized loom. Does anyone know anything about such a thing? Or perhaps have experience with another computerized craft device?

Hello,
I am trying to help my mom. She is legally blind now. She has been a weaver her whole life and is really struggling with not being able to operate her computerized loom anymore. It uses Weavepoint 9 software. I am wondering if there is anyone in your organization who is familiar with this, or something similar, and might have suggestions or advice for her.
Thank you in advance,
Lea Zinzer
