Good Morning Tracy, and, to be surrounded by all of those delicious treats
and smells too! I would suggest checking with your local Senior Centers to
see if they know of any Knitting groups,.

Subject: [NFB-Blind-Crafters] Knitting groups

I joined a new knitting group this week. A friend told me about it. She’s
one of the organizers. It’s a cancer support group, and it meets at a
bakery/café a couple blocks from me. Very convenient.

I really enjoy having a knitting group. It’s fun to knit and chat, and I
can be inspired by what other people are making. Sometimes I can help
someone, or someone can help me. It’s nice to get out and socialize.

I’d be interested to hear how other people find craft groups to join. I
found this one through a friend. There used to be 2 at a local yarn store,
which sadly closed. I know Terry P and Henry knit at their church. Are
there other ways to find a group?

Tracy
