not sure how successful this will sound. i had to give up my seeing eye dog
and she went to her new home on thursday. i have been looking all over for
some yarn of a particular color to make a scarf for my brother in law but
could never find it in any stores and i finally found it in the quantity i
need and all from the same dye lot.
i like to do repetitive tasks like knitting to relax and try to deal with
life. i did the same after my brother died. i was looking for a project to
do that would help me through this difficult time and wanted to give this
as a gift at christmas. so now i have the yarn and will start making the
scarf.
it will be a speckled green and speckled black stripes.
i made him a hat like this and this will match that.
