Gosh Cindy, that’s terrible! Poor me, a toxic robot.

Tracy, my auto correct thinks you are poison and wants to correct your name to Carcinogen.

Ramona, those sound like very fun things to do!

Facebook thinks I’m a robot. Meanwhile, they let in millions of real robots. Oh well.

There is a big group of crafters in my area on facebook. Small groups of them get together at announced times. I haven't made one of them yet, but hope to. There is also a crafting group at the senior community where I live and another at my church. So they are plentiful here.

Most interesting, there is an alpaca farm maybe 40 miles west of Boise, and it offers various tours and lessons. I hope to visit it some time, but I have quite a list of things I want to do. There is a fiddlers festival in a little nearby town in June. I am short on drivers right now, but I can dream!

Best,

Ramona

I joined a new knitting group this week. A friend told me about it. She’s one of the organizers. It’s a cancer support group, and it meets at a bakery/café a couple blocks from me. Very convenient.

I really enjoy having a knitting group. It’s fun to knit and chat, and I can be inspired by what other people are making. Sometimes I can help someone, or someone can help me. It’s nice to get out and socialize.

I’d be interested to hear how other people find craft groups to join. I found this one through a friend. There used to be 2 at a local yarn store, which sadly closed. I know Terry P and Henry knit at their church. Are there other ways to find a group?

Tracy
