Hi Jolene,
As I read your description of how you feel about crafting, it sounded like you were speaking of me.
There is great joy and satisfaction from making things to share with others. Once in awhile, I make something for myself, too.
Take care and take care.
Blessings,
Deb Trevino

thanks Deb.
i did notice i love to craft as a kind of therapy but also when i feel great it is something i do as more than just a hobby. it is my creative gift and it is fulfilling to create things for others or myself to enjoy.
learning to loom knit gave me a great way to make useful items for others. i love to make socks, scarves, hats, mittens, and even washcloths. i am going to try a scarf for my end tables.
but first i need to decide what i want for curtains in the living room so i can match it. i have a good fabric supplier on ebay so it is just a matter of choosing from all os the cuteness. i am looking at something with woodland animals on it.

Hi Jolene and others,
I depend on needle work in both good and bad times to get me through.
I am working my sixth Seeing Eye dog now and she is seven. Needless to say, I have worn those moccasins, too.
I am praying God’s peace and the love of your friends be yours as you mourn your wonderful friend and companion.
Blessings,
Pastor Deb Trevino

not sure how successful this will sound. i had to give up my seeing eye dog and she went to her new home on thursday. i have been looking all over for some yarn of a particular color to make a scarf for my brother in law but could never find it in any stores and i finally found it in the quantity i need and all from the same dye lot.
i like to do repetitive tasks like knitting to relax and try to deal with life. i did the same after my brother died. i was looking for a project to do that would help me through this difficult time and wanted to give this as a gift at christmas. so now i have the yarn and will start making the scarf.
it will be a speckled green and speckled black stripes.
i made him a hat like this and this will match that.

Nothing. I am debating what I want to do and need to sort yarn. Hopefully I will start that process in a week or two. We are looking at traveling in the future.

Good Morning Jeanette, Amen and Amen! Carry on as they say in the Army and I am sure other Branches of the Military.
How are you and John getting on, and, what have you been working on lately?
I am currently working on some loom Knitted scarves, and, in between them, I am also working on a simple Garter Knitted scarf, trying to bust some of my stash of yarn, big smile.

It’s Successful Saturday! Have you started or finished a project, or achieved a goal? Share it with us and we’ll celebrate with you.
I joined a new knitting group this week. It’s small, but hopefully it will thrive and grow.
And I had blood work done this week, and I’ve gotten my sugar and cholesterol much more in hand. Yay!
Tracy
