I had thought about joining this but ended up having to go to a funeral home on Saturday.

Also, had our Friday night family dinner, I asked my great niece what she is going to do for the summer. She is going to attend several camps and one of them will be a sewing camp. I cannot tell you how excited this makes me. I have so got to get this house finished so we can make art together.

For the last couple weeks, I’ve been walking around my neighborhood listening to the birds and noting where they are, preparing for the Bird-ability Blind Bird-a-thon tomorrow.  I’ll walk around again where I know the birds might be and write them down to send in my finds.  And another blind person is joining me, with a driver, so we may well go to a local park where there are lots more birds.  I’m excited about it.
