Hi Cindy and Family, Terry P. and I extend our deepest sympathies on the loss of your cat.
We lost our beloved Sophie on August 14th, she was 15 and three weeks old.
To bring this round to a crafting topic, I am working on a Loom knitted Black and Gold scarf that is in loving memory of her as we said that she had a coat of black, and, a great big heart of pure gold. Oh, there will also be a matching hat and maybe mittens too.

Well, I have had a pretty bad week and barely progressed on any projects.
I took Itty Bitty on Monday to be put to sleep. My heart has been broken and I didn't accomplish anything for two days. She was the last of "the three" that we adopted at once. Had to take Joseph December 2021, Mary November 2022, and finally Little Bit October 2025. She made it to 15 in July.

My success is thinking of Cindy’s tenacity in working on her sweater, and following her example.
The button band on my sweater is taking longer than all the cable work. I did it once, then realized it was really too short, so I pulled it out. I did it again, then thought I’d picked up the stitches on the wrong side and pulled it out and did it again picking up on the other side, only to realize I was right the first time and pull that out. Now I’ve picked up stitches for the band again. I’m on the right side, and I have the right number of stitches. Hopefully nothing will go wrong this time.
Tracy
