Jolene, the things you’re making sound great!

ReNae, congratulations on the birth of your granddaughter. I like her name. And condolences on the loss of your brother.

Ericka, what a good deed, helping your friend get rid of stuff she doesn’t need anymore. That’s hard to do.

Tracy

I am finishing my last Nightmare Before Christmas character, but that is not all my news. I have a new granddaughter, born on 10/09/25. We were on our way back from Virginia, attending my brother’s celebration of life and I got the news. Anahi Jiselle was born, weighing 6 lbs., 3 oz. and is 18.5 inches long. They barely made it to the hospital and that little baby was born! The nurse and doctor hadn’t even got into the room yet, when my son had to yell into the hall that the baby was coming! When the nurse came down the hall, sure enough, she was making her entrance into this world! We are heading there tomorrow to meet this beautiful baby!

It’s Successful Saturday! Have you started or finished a project, or achieved a goal? Share it with us and we’ll celebrate with you.

My success is thinking of Cindy’s tenacity in working on her sweater, and following her example.

The button band on my sweater is taking longer than all the cable work. I did it once, then realized it was really too short, so I pulled it out. I did it again, then thought I’d picked up the stitches on the wrong side and pulled it out and did it again picking up on the other side, only to realize I was right the first time and pull that out. Now I’ve picked up stitches for the band again. I’m on the right side, and I have the right number of stitches. Hopefully nothing will go wrong this time.

Tracy
