Sarah,
She started it on her own but I took advantage. She also always made a noise walking through a room and waited for you to go or made sure to speed up and stay out of the way of feet. When we still had the other one, my lap cat, she would walk across the path of moving feet and get kicked. My mom always said don't you feel bad for kicking her? My reply was no, she was 12 and if she hadn't learned by then I didn't know what to tell her. The Seeing Eye kitty saw your feet moving backwards and screamed bloody murder like you had actually stepped on her when there was 4 feet between you and her. She really was special and talked all the time.

I’ve had cats my whole life, and have had to say goodbye to three of them at various points. It is never easy to lose a 4-legged friend. I’m sending you all hugs if wanted.
