So sorry to hear that, Cindy.  Could you set it aside for a few days, and see if you feel the same?  And only a few days, so, if you decide you do hate it, it won't sit there being a waste of good yarn.  
What a drag, to spend lots of time making something, and discover you don't like it.  But, if that's the case, you sure have given it a good try.

Okay, I am thinking about frogging this sweater. I am NOT enjoying the process and I don't think I will like the final product either. Trying to come up with another version that I DO want to make.
