Our Lucy is a Seeing Eye kitty like that! Even if you’re in the bathroom on the toilet, she meows to let you know she’s coming through to get to her litter box. It’s so funny! It’s like a two stall bathroom. Lol there is a partition so I don’t have to watch her in the box. This cat can really talk up a storm whenever she wants something and she’s pretty good at verbally pantomiming between and meowing and walking around using echolocation. The dang cat is however a really talented in getting stuck behind doors. It’s either the basement where we have a spare refrigerator for parties and stuff. She loves getting in that room and then in the garage. But mostly she just likes to lay on her blanket and watch out the window with the squirrels being entertainment.

Sarah,

She started it on her own but I took advantage. She also always made a noise walking through a room and waited for you to go or made sure to speed up and stay out of the way of feet. When we still had the other one, my lap cat, she would walk across the path of moving feet and get kicked. My mom always said don't you feel bad for kicking her? My reply was no, she was 12 and if she hadn't learned by then I didn't know what to tell her. The Seeing Eye kitty saw your feet moving backwards and screamed bloody murder like you had actually stepped on her when there was 4 feet between you and her. She really was special and talked all the time.

Cindy, Henry, Terry, and Tracy,

I know I am a little late in responding, but I am so sorry to hear that you all have lost cats or dogs in the past few weeks. I’ve had cats my whole life, and have had to say goodbye to three of them at various points. It is never easy to lose a 4-legged friend. I’m sending you all hugs if wanted.

And Cindy, that is so cool that your cat would help you find things you dropped. My cats have never done that for me. Did you teach her to do that or did she just start doing it on her own?

Take care,

Sarah
