Sonya, and anyone else who's interested,
You asked me for a stretchy bind-off during the knit-along, and I gave you
one, but either I got it wrong or was thinking of something else.
I usually use the Russian bind-off, which is:
Follow the pattern as to whether to knit or purl.
Work 1 stitch, then the next. Slip both stitches back to the left needle
and then knit or purl them together, depending on the last pattern row.
Knit or purl the next stitch, then slip those 2 stitches back to the left
needle and work them together. And so on.
I always work a bind-off with the next needle size up, sometimes even 2
sizes up, so it's nice and loose.
Does anyone else have a stretchy bind-off they like?
Tracy
