I am working on a crocheted Princess dress for a stuffed Minnie Mouse, for
my granddaughter. It is pretty cute!

Want to hear something sad. I grabbed the wrong color for the place mats. I
already tore out what I had already loomed, sad face. Sometimes it is just
annoying being blind. I have the Ray-Ban Meta glasses and could have
checked, but I didn't.
Oh well, If at first you don't succeed, check the color with the tools you
have.

Hi Becky and Holden you great big and beautiful fur ball you! I think that
they should lie flat, but, if not, you will have to do a K 1 P 1 border
around the edges then do the Stockinette mid section.

My sister blessed me with a new tablecloth for the dining area. I am looming
stockinet place mats. I think if I crocheted them I would have at least one
finished, grump. But I wanted to see if stockinet would work. I figure I
will have two double the yarn on the edge to get it to lay flat. Hey Loomers
am I right?

Good work, Henry. I'm sure people will appreciate the hats. It's still
chilly at night, and there's always next winter.

I've let Successful Saturday slide for a while, but here it is again!
Have you started or finished a project, learned a new crafting skill, or
achieved a goal since last time we had Successful Saturday? Share it with
us and we'll celebrate with you.
I will probably finish the Kanak shawl today! It's coming out real nice.
I'm excited to see what it's like once it's been blocked, but it's already
lovely.
And I learned to purl front and back making the border, which I never did
before.
