Thanks Tracy M. The patterns look interesting. The lace knit-along sounds lovely.

I was able to navigate OK using h to skip between headings. A few ads, but that’s how people pay for their websites, I guess.

I’ll add this to our resource page, besides saving it for myself.

Hello:

The website for Oh La Lana is:

https://ohlalana.com

Her dishcloths or blanket blocks are all worked in knits and purls worrked in one colour. The website isn't really friendly for us, but it works. I am still trying to find some of her animal blocks. I sent her an email about it.

Bye for now.

Tracy M.

Hi Sarah.

Sorry, the dishcloth class has ended. But, if you’re interested in dishcloths in general, daisyandstorm.com has lots and lots of free dishcloth patterns. I’ve made some as dishcloths, though I can’t bring myself to actually use them and make them all messy, when they’re so nice. And I’ve used some to create a blanket with a theme, making dishcloth pictures and sewing them together. I think a group here did that, too, on a marine theme. It was fun.

I know Dixie taught some tricky techniques using dishcloths, like entrelac, and maybe she’d be willing to teach something like that again. I did the entrelac class, but I still don’t understand it well.

Or, if anyone else wants to teach a dishcloth class, feel free to raise your hand and say “Me me me!”.

Hi!

I know Dixy used to have an ongoing email dishcloth class on the NFB crafting group, and I am just curious if this class is still going on. I never joined it, but now I’m getting more interested in knitting dishcloths and would like to join if the class is still going on.

Unfortunately I won’t be able to join the chat tomorrow morning because I have family visiting. They get here just before dinner this evening, so tonight would not have worked for me either. But no worries, I realize it is extremely hard to find a time that works for everyone! Hopefully I will be able to join the next chat.

Happy crafting,

Sarah
