[NFB-Blind-Crafters] Crochet or knit-along

Hi Henry.
I've been thinking for a while it might be fun to do some kind of knit or
crochet-along, but I'm not sure what kind of project would let the biggest
number of people join in.
We did knit-alongs at my local yarn store until sadly it closed. It was
fun. It was a chance to learn some techniques and share the journey with
other people. As I recall, we made a complicated shawl that taught me a lot
of new techniques, an interesting cardigan, and a t-shirt top that proved
very popular.
I think the tee might be a good group project. It's got a nice eyelet
detail along the seams, but is actually seamless, knitted top-down, and you
get a nice top at the end.
Or we could make a crochet throw, like the one Becky just shared.
Or we could do something completely different.
What do people think? Would we like to do this? What should we make?
Tracy

Hi Tracy and Everyone, and, I hope that a pattern can be shared on this list
so that others can enjoy making it too.
How about we have some sort of a Crochet Along?

Subject: [NFB-Blind-Crafters] Crochet throw pattern
I'm thinking I'd like to make a throw using crochet. I don't mind some
color changes, but I'm more interested in texture. Shells, or flowers,
something like that.
Can anyone recommend a pattern like that?
I see lots of afghan books on BlindMice, but I don't know if they're what I
want or not. And the ones I find on LionBrandYarn are based on color, not
interesting textures.
