To me it felt like three ply. I don't know what the web site or package
says. I know for me it was easy to work with. Get the Big Scoop Iced cream
yarn. It is a better bargain.

Tracy, I like Lion Brand Ice cream for Baby blankets. There are plenty of
other brands that are soft and durable. So go to a petting zoo and enjoy
touching the yarn. I make mine thirty by thirty inches roughly. A little
bigger is fine, but certainly no smaller. This size is really good for a new
one or one older riding in a car seat.

Hi Becky.
I have thought about making a baby blanket for charity. What kind of yarn
do you use? Something washable, no doubt. Do you have a favorite baby
blanket brand? And how big are they, roughly?
Hugging you back!

Tracy, I am like you I can't just sit still while in a long meeting, or
Bible study, or doctor's office waiting room. I have brought all kinds of
things. From starting an afghan while it is still easy to carry, baby
blankets, hats, scarves, baby dress, granny squares, booties, most anything
I make, smile. I usually get questions, if they aren't on their phones. .
Becky hugging you tightly

The other night I attended a meeting I knew would go on for hours. I have a
hard time sitting in a meeting without something to do with my hands. I
call it constructive fidgeting. But I wanted something simple, so I
wouldn't be distracted from the meeting, and my current project isn't at a
simple phase. So I cast on the start of a hat for charity before I went to
the meeting. Simple, easy to carry, and good to give away when I'm done. I
got quite a bit done during the meeting, too.
Do other people have projects like that to take to meetings? What do you
take?
Tracy
