Wow, congratulations Tracy! It sounds beautiful!!!

I survived a job review for the year past and I am almost finished with the baby blanket. I did use baby B.. It has three colors. One is a multicolored that I can’t recall. The other two are sugar, plum and pink Abu. It’s turning out better than I expected, but I know that I have a lot to learn. I chose to crochet it and I have more control over things I’ve learned. I have to finish one square and get it put into place then I have just the border to do. Feels good. I think it looks good for a first timer. it’s in sort of a checkerboard pattern.

It’s Successful Saturday! Have you started or finished a project, or achieved a goal? Share it with us and we’ll celebrate with you.

I finished the sweater I’ve been working on since August! Yay! And it’s really nice. If we had an Instagram, I’d post a picture.

It’s the Lion Brand Tree of Life Cardigan pattern, with some modifications by me. It has 2 intertwined trees on each side of the front, and I added a simpler tree pattern on the upper sleeves. It’s chestnut-colored, a rich reddish-brown. It fits great, and I think it will be cozy.

I made it with Knitpicks High Desert Tweed, an all-American-made wool. It’s really nice yarn. It’s smooth, doesn’t split easily, and firm but soft.

I’m really pleased with how my project came out.

Tracy
