Be safe everyone, and be careful.
Time to craft extra warm blankets, for the next cold snap. :)
A good addition to an emergency kit, specially in areas where such cold is unusual.

It’s -6° outside here in Janesville Wisconsin. Just giving you a taste of what to come. And that’s not including the windchill. It’s sunny out there. So deceiving! Sorry we actually were eating supper too at that time which is unusual for us. I’m sorry I missed the group.

Sorry I missed it. We have family dinners most Fridays. I missed last Friday because of a meeting regarding paratransit around here. It turned out that my nephew and his family didn't make it because their groceries were supposed to be delivered and then it was changed to pickup. They waited over an hour. We ended up ordering without them and finishing before they made it to the restaurant. The snow is headed our way and super cold temps for about a week. Things have been canceled, our church is online only this week and businesses are waiting until Sunday to decide if they will be open on Monday and no one know what Tuesday will be like.
As I type this, it is 9F.

Our Zoom just ended. We got 40 minutes, and then it stopped. But it was fun, I thought. Sorry I didn’t get to say goodbye to y’all, but I enjoyed chatting with you.
We’re expecting a lot of snow, too.

I am still at dinner so probably won't make it. We are preparing for 12-18 inches of snow.

Here’s the info for our Sit and Stitch tonight. I will start the meeting close to 7 PM Eastern, so we get our full 40 minutes.
Sorry, it didn’t give me phone options. You can join the Zoom from a phone via the Zoom app, but I guess you can’t dial in.
If someone knows how to change that, let me know. carcione at access.net<mailto:carcione at access.net>.

40 minutes is fine with me. What time is it going to start?

I will have to run this meeting on my own Zoom account. I can do it for free for 40 minutes, or I can pay a reasonable amount and get as long as we want.
It seems like many people have to leave for a class or meeting at 8:00, so 40 minutes might be OK, but, on the other hand, I hate to cut things short.
Is 40 minutes long enough? I don’t mind paying for more, but, if everyone will be moving on anyway, well, why pay for something we’re not going to use?
What do you say?
